Wildlife, Culture and Sipi Falls Safari.-11days

Day 1: Welcome to Uganda

Your driver/guide will be at Entebbe Airport to pick you up from your flight and takes you directly to your lodge/hotel in Kampala/Entebbe. Depending your arrival time, you may be able to explore the heritage and religious sites in and around Kampala.

Overnight and Dinner at The Boma Hotel Entebbe/Cassia Lodge/Lindsay Cottages.

Day 2: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Today after breakfast, you will start your journey to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

Arrive at Lunch time and check in your lodge. Relax after lunch and go for rhino trekking in late afternoon.

Overnight and dinner: Amuka Lodge

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park

Today, You go for an early canoe ride on the lugogo swamp to track the shoebill bird and other wild life. Return for a late breakfast. After breakfast start your journey to Murchison falls national Park. Overnight and dinner at Kabalega wilderness

Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park

Go for an early game drive. The game drive brings close to the real wildlife that includes elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, different species of antelope and many tropical birds. In the afternoon, you will go for a boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls, where the Nile thunders through a small 7-meter gorge, plunging 43 m into Lake Albert. Day 5: Murchison Falls National Park – Kidepo
Have a relaxed breakfast and prepare for a calm transfer to Kidepo national Park with lunch en route. On the way you will stop at the top of the Murchison Waterfalls. Early morning game drive through the park on the way to kitgum, northern Uganda where you will spend your night. Accomodation at Boma Hotel

Day 6: Kidepo Valley National Park

Today after breakfast you will transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park. Kidepo Valley National Park is a 1,442 square kilometres national park in the Karamoja region in northeast Uganda. Kidepo is rugged savannah, dominated by the 9,020 ft  Mount Morungole and transected by the Kidepo and Narus rivers. Kidepo is also home to zebras, giraffes, elephants, lions, leopards and is the only place in Uganda where you can find cheetah and ostrich. Overnight Accommodation: Apoka Lodge/Ngamoru Wilderness Camp/ Camping.

Day 7: Kidepo National Park

Early morning game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park.you will enjoy the beautiful countryside in search of wildlife. In the afternoon, visit a Karamajong village, a unique cultural experience and traditional dances. Your trip will involve a visit to the Kanangarok Hot spring (also known as Kanatarok) extreme north of the Park.

Overnight Accommodation: Apoka Lodge/Nga’moru Wilderness/Camping.

 Day 8 : Gulu town

After breakfast, you travel back to Kampala through Gulu. You will spend your night in Gulu. Accomodation Boma Hotel

Day 9: Gulu to Sipi Falls

Today, after breakfast your journey will take you to Sipi falls in Kapchorwa. Check in at your lodge.

Accommodation: Lacam Lodge/Sipi River Lodge

Day 10: Sipi Falls – Jinja

Visit the spectacular Sipi Falls on Mount Elgon Ranges. Later in the day transfer to Jinja and visit the genuine source of River Nile. Accommodation: Gately on the Nile or 2 Friends guest house

Day 11: Transfers to Jinja  and Entebbe

Depending on your flight back home, the following activities are available water-rafting, kayaking, quad biking, horse riding, take a walk along the Nile, and visit local community projects. Transfer to the airport in Entebbe afterwards for your night departure flight.
